Volition Brewing sits in the heart of downtown North Bend — within a 15-minute drive of every major trailhead in the Snoqualmie Valley — with Mount Si standing right over our beer garden. Muddy boots, tired dogs, and trail stories are all welcome here.
Located at 112 WEight miles of switchbacks and 3,150 feet of gain — the classic Seattle-area conditioning hike. When you come off that mountain, you can see the summit you just stood under from our beer garden. Little Si is the closest trailhead to our taproom. A quick 4.7-mile round trip with a rocky summit scramble — perfect for a morning hike that ends with lunch from the food truck and a cold pour in the garden.
Head back down Cedar Falls Road, and downtown North Bend is on your way home to Seattle. The ledge gets crowded — our beer garden has room to spread out. Dogs who behaved themselves on the leash-required trail get water bowls and shade here.
A family favorite, which works out well — kids are welcome at Volition, and we keep non-alcoholic options on hand alongside the beer.
If you took the old trail, you've earned two. Mailbox finishers get no formal discount, but they do get our respect.
Coming back down Middle Fork Road, we're the first cold beer in civilization. The Middle Fork Valley is one of the quietest corners of the Cascades — decompress accordingly.
Not a hike, but 1.5 million visitors a year can't be wrong. After the falls, skip the crowds and drive 10 minutes into North Bend for a pint in a real mountain town — the same downtown you might recognize from Twin Peaks.
Bike parking out front. Gravel riders, bikepackers, and rail-trail cruisers: North Bend is your natural resupply point, and we consider ourselves essential trail infrastructure.
